This week I was able to create a wheel altered project and make a small vase for my mother. I also had time to make my sister a bowl. In the picture the wheel altered project is shown as well as the bowl I made my sister. I put flower petals along the rim of the bowl to add texture and because my sister asked me too!

This week I made my two other projects for my set of three and finally glazed my tall project. I also footed my two projects for my set of three and found the time to glaze them. They turned out really nice and I am excited to give them to my family!

My set of 3 is a bowl, a cup, and a plate. They will all be glazed with light red swirls with accentuating dots around the sides. I do not currently have a picture because my projects are in the kiln. But once they come out, it will be uploaded! I am excited for this project to give to my sister as a suprise :)

This is my first tall project! I plan on turning it into a pencil holder. I will use the dripping affect of glaze to make it have a different texture! I am hoping to give it to my mother as a gift and for that I am extremely excited to see how it turns out!

I have finished shaping the bowl and this time it turned out alot more deeper than bowl number one. I have not however finished footing but plan on doing so as soon as the clay is dry enough. I am planning on doing more of a darker color palate which will resemble more of a winter theme. I am hoping to give it some deepth by using a darker glaze on the inside while using a lighter one on the outside.

This is the first bowl I have made since coming back to ceramics! It is a little more shallow then I was planning but the shape turned out beautiful. I am planning to make the design on this bowl have more of a spring feel to it by using flowers and bright but soft color glazes to bring the bowl to life.
